Train with BREEAM USA
BREEAM continues to grow in the US, with more and more clients looking to scale their program to measure and certify asset sustainability performance across whole real estate portfolios.
Every day we are asked by clients who they should hire to support them on this journey. Our answer? Look for professionals with a BREEAM credential or license from BRE. BRE Academy provides training for BREEAM professionals; contact our team to find out more about training options.
Becoming a BREEAM Professional
Our guide to BREEAM Professionals outlines the roles, responsibilities and requirements of the Assessor and Advisory Professional (AP), and the important part each plays in the successful application of the BREEAM standards.
Step 1: Decide what type of BREEAM professional designation is right for you
Assessors verify asset performance and award the rating to the asset using the relevant BREEAM program and are licensed through their company.
Advisory Professionals (APs) are globally recognized through their individual credential as having the knowledge to provide strategic and technical BREEAM consultancy services or to benefit their own organization.
2. Take the course.
Our training is delivered through a virtual class by BREEAM experts from BRE so you get the quality of training you deserve.
3. Pass the exam.
The exam is proctored live online and scheduled at a convenient time once the training course is successfully completed.
4. Apply for the credential or license.
Once the exam is passed, you’re qualified to apply for the credential or license. Reach out to our team to confirm your interest in moving forward to obtain the designation.
