Loss Prevention Standards
The internationally respected suite of Loss Prevention Standards give confidence to manufacturers, specifiers, and end-users that fire safety products and services will perform as expected. This includes measures to prevent and detect fires, fire alarms and fire suppression. The standards also cover security systems, providing confidence in the level of protection against risks such as break ins and terrorist attacks.

The Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB)
The LPCB is a globally recognised third-party certification body. It is part of BRE and works with industry and insurers to set the loss prevention standards. It also offers third-party certification against the standards.
